L’Office des Transports de la Corse lance une consultation sur les lignes aériennes de service public entre Marseille, Nice et Paris-Orly et la Corse.
Offering an extensive range of mobile app functions for airports around the world, FLIO already established itself as the global airport app. The app addresses itself to the frequent travellers and thus acquired a large international user base that is even attracting airports with own app.
Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is precisely a case in point. Despite having its own app, the airport recognized the urgent need to reach the international traveller on digital platforms, who could not be incentivized to use their app. In a strategic move, the airport decided to employ FLIO as a complementary app to its own existing one.
At Nice Airport, FLIO users are now able to :
Besides these services built exclusively for Nice Airport, all other standard app features are also integrated for the airport passengers to make use of. These include original airport layout maps, weather forecast, frequently updated flight information and easy access to free airport Wi-Fi among others.
Nice Côte d'Azur is France's third busiest airport after Paris, with 12.4 million passengers in 2016, 111 direct destinations and 61 scheduled airlines serving 38 countries. Outside Paris, it is also the only French airport to offer daily flights to New York and Dubai. The Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur Group manages the Nice Côte d'Azur, Cannes Mandelieu and Golfe de Saint-Tropez airports and is ranked second in Europe in terms of business air traffic.
Filip Soete, Chief Commercial Officer, Aéroport Nice Cote d’Azur: “ We met FLIO a few months ago and with the launch of our Digital LAB, we took the opportunity to propose their app to our international passengers and offer to them the services of our own app. This reinforces our aim to digitalize the passengers’ pathway and increase their satisfaction.” FLIO Founder and CEO Stephan Uhrenbacher: “As the third biggest airport in France, Nice Airport - „Aeroport de la Cote d´Azur“ understands how FLIO supports travellers on their journey by enabling them to book services like parking, fast-track and lounge access directly in the app. At the same time, the airport can reach a very diverse global audience through a single channel. We are very happy to announce this cooperation with an airport that is placed in one of the most special cities in Europe.”
